You begin to do strange things after you’ve cooped inside for too long…

I’ve been stuck inside the last few days taking care of my sick son and found myself watching the NASA channel and RFD – Rural America Television or something like that.  But every once in a while you stumble across something good.  On RFD this morning was the FFA convention; the keynote was Sam Glenn.  Sam’s a young guy who blends chalk art drawing, humor and a pretty powerful message on leadership into quite an interesting speech.  I found it surprisingly enjoyable!

Unfortunately Sam’s keynote was followed by an auction preview of "performance bulls" – as in cattle.  It was schedule for 1 ½ hours of parading cattle across the screen speaking a language I simply don’t understand – I turned the channel.
