This is recovery week and a much welcome recovery week I might add. Core Synergistics wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely no piece of cake either. I had made the mistake of previewing the routine a bit and thought it’d be really difficult. I can’t say I brought everything I had since I was concentrating on learning all the new moves, but will hit it hard later in the week.
Otherwise lots of cardio and stretching this week and I’m finally starting to get the Kenpo down, which make it a lot more fun. All in all a pretty good week thus far as I wrap up Phase 1. Next Monday starts Phase 2 and one-handed push-ups. EEK!
